In order to 'claim' a blog as your own in Technorati, you need to create a post on your blog to prove that you control it. Well, this is mine. I just need to include this link (below) and once the Technorati spiders see it, I'm done. The full instructions are given to you when you create a profile on the Technorati site, and try to claim your first blog. Release the spiders!

As more people bookmark your blog using the Technorati system, the number of fans you have and the amount of authority you have will increase. At least that's the idea. The more authority you have the better, obviously, and the higher up your blog appears on the Technorati system.
